UKCloud Foundation

We are proud to be in a position where we can support charities – both locally and across the UK – whether directly through initiatives organised by the UKCloud team or by matching funding for employee-driven activity.

A percentage of our profits goes straight to charity

Each year a percentage of our operating profits are retained and used for direct charitable donations to the “charity of the year”, as voted for by our UKCloud colleagues. This has resulted in sizeable donations being made to BBC Children in Need, Prince’s Trust, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, the Brownlee Foundation, the Cyber Security Challenge, and locally the Community Matters Partnership Project (CMPP) in Farnborough.

We match fundings raised by our employees

The UKCloud Foundation also provides matched funding, to further boost the fundraising efforts of individuals. Matched pound for pound, this boosts the total amount raised from a wide variety of events, including triathlons, cycle rides, mud runs and the Three Peaks Challenge.

Volunteer Days

All UKCloud colleagues are encouraged to make the best use of the “volunteer leave” day that they receive each year. They can use this time to support any charity of their choice in any way they choose, and this benefits a wide variety of good causes.

Fundraising for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance

In 2017, UKCloud’s chosen charity was the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance service. Our employees managed to raised £5,000 that year.

From Triathlons to the Three Peaks Challenge...

Since our inception, we’re encouraged our employees to join us for a variety of different challenges. The image here is from Tough Mudder!

We support charities all year long

No matter the season, we’re always on the hunt for new ways to support those less fortunate than ourselves. Here’s a picture from a food collection and distribution charity in London.
