Why UKCloud?

Our mission is simple. To help public sector organisations deliver more value to the UK taxpayer through safer, cheaper and more flexible IT.

The right cloud for every platform

With 80% of IT workloads thought to take place on-premise, we realise that a sustainable digital transformation must start with legacy.

Our unique, multi-cloud offering allows public sector organisations to modernise legacy workloads across the board. Rehost traditional systems with UKCloud for VMware, or explore new and emerging technologies with OpenShift. No matter your digital maturity, we can help you build a cloud specific to your needs.

An Award-Winning Customer Experience

The customer sits at the heart of everything we do. A philosophy which, in 2022, meant our customers gave UKCloud a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +68. A phenomenal score which is considered much higher than the industry average.

Whether that’s through our 24/7 support function. A service we provide at no extra charge. Or by giving every single one of our customers a dedicated Service Delivery Manager – regardless of workload size. We do everything we can to ensure your experience with UKCloud is an exceptional one.

Service Accessibility and Availability

UKCloud fully understands how important it is that the cloud platform you choose is designed, maintained, and supported to ensure it is fully accessible and available. UKCloud owns and manages the entire platform and operates with a wide range of customer support teams to continually monitor the infrastructure, networking, specific cloud technologies, portals, and functionality. Each month, every customer will receive an availability report and usage overview in the UKCloud portal and receive a detailed usage report in CSV format.

Dedicated to the public sector

From our unique assurance and connectivity options to the people we employ – everything we do comes back to our mission to help public sector organisations deliver better digital services at a lower cost.

Social Value Overview

UKCloud became the first UK-based tech company to be awarded the Social Value Quality (SVQ) Mark. More information on what we did to win this award is available below.

UKCloud Signs Memorandum of Understanding With CCS

In June 2020, UKCloud signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Crown Commerical Service (CCS) which recognised our company a strategic supplier of multi-cloud.

Uncompromising security and integrity

Whilst the cloud is continually shown to be more secure than legacy IT, the private sector doesn’t need to deal with classified information or public records – which is why we go the extra mile to protect your data.

Our UK-based data centres help protect your organisation from regulations such as GDPR, whilst our unique assurance and connectivity options enable you to move your most secure and sensitive systems to the cloud. But it doesn’t stop there. Our government-grade data centres are all manned and protected by a team of security-cleared staff.

Champions of innovation in the public sector

Why build when you can buy? We’ve partnered with over 300 specialist organisations who have built their pioneering digital services on top of our government-grade infrastructure. From AI to RPA, our partner ecosystem has you covered.

Short-term, you’ll liberate yourself from the underlying infrastructure. And in the long run, you’ll benefit from an ever-evolving feature set that internal IT teams rarely have time to deliver.

Committed to doing the right thing

From paying our taxes to undergraduate and apprentice programmes; from Carbon Neutral solutions to charity work. Everything we do can be traced back to our commitment to doing the right thing.

Yes, we want to help public sector organisations deliver better, cheaper services to UK citizens – but it needs to be done the right way. Throughout our history, we have focused on doing what’s right and we remain dedicated to that vision.
