UKCloud has proven itself as a platform provider – where our services are highly productised and standardised. But increasingly, customers demand solutions not just components and so UKCloud has to adapt and provide compelling solutions that are relevant to the challenges that are common across our community of customers in public sector and similarly regulated industries.
Hence, the Solutions Director is a new role at UKCloud and is expected to be a leader within our business – developing, championing and enabling UKCloud to deliver solutions that are closely matched to customer desired outcomes.
You will be highly engaged in the UK public sector and cloud technology communities - working with UKCloud customers, sales team, vendors and partners to identify the trends and outcomes that are most important to the market. You will be tasked with creating the UKCloud propositions that are either vertical aligned (e.g. solving the big problems in healthcare), technology aligned (e.g. how can customers really start to take advantage of AI, IoT, Cyber, etc) or customer led (e.g. in response to a customer RFP or similar).
The work will involve brining to together UKCloud’s own products with 3rd party solutions and elements of our service portfolio. Where there are gaps, you will provide direction and directly influence development in our product and service portfolios to ensure that UKCloud is solving the customer’s problems today and supporting their vision for tomorrow. These propositions will be key to new business – you will be skilled at working with sales teams and pulling together solutions ahead of revenue growth.
