We are looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our team of trusted advisors to look after a portfolio of customers.
You'll have experience and be comfortable in a highly customer-facing role balancing both a long-term strategic and short-term focus with a proven ability to build strong relationships at various levels.
Your background must have a technical exposure to be able to credibly answer customer queries. These may include advice on deploying in the cloud, technology integration and you will lead service optimisation activities for their customers.
Responsible for building and leveraging the technical relationship with customers at all levels, including influencing UKCloud to improve the products and services delivered.
Achieve trusted advisor status, capitalising on all opportunities to improve the overall customer experience.
Maintain excellent relationships with all UKCloud teams supporting the Account.
Work closely with customer delivery teams to enable successful deployment of applications on to our cloud platforms and to achieve the greatest value throughout their lifecycle.
Coordinate and expedite the resolution of technical issues acting as the key liaison point.
Proven service delivery / account management experience
Takes a professional approach with excellent stakeholder management and teamwork skills
Excellent presentation skills; comfortable with presenting using PowerPoint and a whiteboard
Self-motivated, proactive, accountable
Continuous learning approach; both in terms of building customer knowledge and understanding evolving technologies
General technical competence with a background in virtualisation
Working knowledge of Cloud Computing (IaaS and PaaS)
Experience of working in or with the UK Public Sector
Security and assurance regimes used by the UK Public Sector to assure sensitive information
Experience of working within an Agile environment
ITIL experience / qualification
