We have some ambitious growth plans here at UKCloud and we are looking for a Sales development manager who can help us achieve these! We have had some record years of growth and now we are looking to kickstart our next phase of expansion.
Purpose of Role
As a Development Manager, you will have a key role in the achievement of UKCloud’s Business Development and Sales goals. You will be responsible for supporting the development of a given territory, working closely with the Business Managers, owning your own pipeline of Leads and Opportunities, developing these into Upside Opportunities which in turn will drive bookings and billings inline with the UK sales goals. Reporting into the Head of Business Development you will also be expected to work collaboratively with Marketing and an Engagement Executive working in the same territory.
Responsible for supporting the business development plan that ultimately drives pipeline through delivering qualified new business opportunities and new bookings
Work with the Business Manager, supported by the Head of Business Development, to provide excellent support for customers, customers and partners
Predominantly being the second touch-point for prospects, you will be responsible for a timely, well educated qualification to identify potential sales opportunities
Follow the process for efficient, professional and timely follow-up and follow-through of all Free Trial requests, converting these into live trials that in turn drive sales pipeline
Take a consultative sales apporach to effectively position UKCloud’s products and service offerings in relation to the business challengens of our customers
Ensure all sales communications are correctly and accurately reflected in CRM system demonstrating compliance to the relevant sales processes · Engage with existing customers to help develop existing relationships and identify upsell opportunities
Ensure all prospects and customers receive the best contact folllowing their first interaction with UKCloud via the BD team, keeping us front of mind for future decisions and keeping us relevant in the market
To attend Industry events that are relevant to your territory and own the continuation of engagements following these events
To shadow Business Managers at a small numer of customer meetings per month, to develop personal sales skills and awareness of the market
Own and achieve targets relating to New Bookings (£), Opportunity generation, successful dials and compliance to process
