Why previous students applied to UKCloud:

What does your role look like?

“The placement is an opportunity to experience a range of different aspects of the business world. The basic structure of my day is completing numerous finance tasks, such as revenue forecasting, which teaches you to think analytically whilst giving you chance to use real time information to solve different problems. You’re also offered many additional responsibilities and you will get the most out of your placement by getting involved with as many of these as possible. I took on managing the CAPEX hardware delivery process and was given the freedom to organise changes to this procedure with an external supplier. I was able to implement a permanent change which improved efficiency and I’m hoping this system will remain the same after I leave.” Luke
