We are looking for an experienced and Finance Manager with a fantastic blend of technical expertise and practical application to join us. This is a great opportunity to make a difference through working in a small finance function and with a number of key stakeholders across the business.
Lead the production of monthly KPI reporting, primarily of financial KPI's but also incorporating key sales metrics
Identify Performance Trends and work with the CFO, the Senior Management Team and other key groups to exploit opportunities and correct adverse trends
Analysing financial variances to plan/forecast and exploring potential problems with line managers
Making appropriate recommendations, advising of the impact on the business, and where appropriate holding the business to account on delivery
Manage and enhance where appropriate the Company's existing financial business planning model
Improve the processes surrounding the gathering of inputs from the business to the financial planning model
Assist with the development of ad hoc financial plans and analysis relating to specific circumstances or potential decisions
Assist in the Company's monthly customer invoicing activity, including managing all the processes and activities involved in setting up invoicing amounts and responding to subsequent queries
Lead revenue assurance activities to underpin our invoicing processes and controls
Produce Sales Commission calculations and other periodic required calculations for input to payroll or other Company activities as required
Assisting as part of the finance team (eg as holiday cover) for activities such as accounts payable, treasury/banking, credit control, returns to Government bodies
Assisting as appropriate in the continuing development and management of suitable financial policies, systems, controls and processes capable of supporting the Company's growth ·
Providing commercial analysis and strategic support as required for major tenders and bids.
Ideally have experience in a fast-growing tech company or service sector company.
May have managed teams, but more likely someone who wishes to be in the detail themselves and work as part of a team to deliver an excellent outcome
Experience with Electronic accounting packages, definitely Excel, ideally SAGE, and ability to get up to speed quickly with other bespoke packages"
