Our products team is growing we are looking for a Bid Manager to lead and co-ordinate UKCloud’s response when we respond to technology framework submissions and customer-specific strategic deals.
You will work with the wider business to agree key themes of the bid and negotiate terms.

About this role
You will be tasked with defining and owning a winning Bid Management process to drive consistency, compliance and quality in our bid responses. You will be responsible for the timeliness, relevance, compliance and accuracy of the bid submission, identifying the business support required to build the bid and ensuring that senior stakeholders around the business are aware of the bids progress, have committed appropriate resource, and have committed any support needed to remove blockers.
Organised and process driven with experience reporting on project progress to senior stakeholders
Sound understanding of UK procurement regulation and competition and how/when this regulation will apply to bids
Ability to deliver compliant bids
Successful track record in co-ordinating and delivering winning bids for both public and private sector tendors
Familiar with a wide range of e-tendering tools
Ability to work with Stakeholders to identify and agree win themes that are required for an effective proposal
Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organisation
Project Management experience
Experience of buying technology services either in the public or private sector
Ability to create effective templates and a library of responses to drive better organised and higher quality bids
Bid writing experience to allow to review and redraft contributions in good time and to acceptable quality
