Terms & Conditions for the use of the UKCloud Ltd (formerly known as “Skyscape”) website.
Attention: Please read these terms carefully before using this website. Using this website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this website.
1. GENERAL USE RESTRICTIONS
All information, documents, software, services and other materials (the “Materials”) provided on this Site are the property and copyrighted work of UKCloud. Except as explicitly stated on the website or as described in these legal terms, none of the Materials may be copied, downloaded, reproduced, distributed, republished, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means, without the prior express written permission of UKCloud. No part of this website, including but not limited to any logo, graphic, sound or image, may be reproduced or retransmitted in any way, or by any means, without the prior express written permission of UKCloud.
Any unauthorised use of any Materials may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and communications regulations and statutes.
2. TRADE MARKS
The trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos and other indications of origin displayed in this website (“Trademarks”) are owned by UKCloud or a third party who has granted UKCloud a right to use them in this website. UKCloud grants to You a limited licence to store and view the Materials delivered to You on your internal computer network. Unless done so strictly for your internal business use, the Materials may not be otherwise reproduced, transmitted, broadcast or displayed in public without UKCloud’s prior written consent.
5. MATERIALS PROVIDED TO UKCLOUD OR POSTED AT THE UKCLOUD GITHUB PAGE
UKCloud does not claim ownership of the materials you provide to UKCloud (including feedback and suggestions) or post, upload, input or submit to any Services or its associated services for review by the general public, or by the members of any public or private community, (each a “Submission” and collectively “Submissions”). However, by posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting (“Posting”) your Submission you are granting UKCloud permission to use your Submission including, without limitation, the license rights to: copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your Submission; to publish your name in connection with your Submission; and the right to sublicense such rights to any supplier of the Services. This includes Submissions to the UKCloud GitHub page.
No compensation will be paid with respect to the use of your Submission, as provided herein. UKCloud is under no obligation to post or use any Submission you may provide and UKCloud may remove any Submission at any time in its sole discretion.
By Posting a Submission you warrant and represent that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your Submission as described in these Terms of Use and those of GitHub, including, without limitation, all the rights necessary for you to provide, post, upload, input or submit the Submissions.
In addition to the warranty and representation set forth above, by Posting a Submission that contain images, photographs, pictures or that are otherwise graphical in whole or in part (“Images”), you warrant and represent that (a) you are the copyright owner of such Images, or that the copyright owner of such Images has granted you permission to use such Images or any content and/or images contained in such Images consistent with the manner and purpose of your use and as otherwise permitted by these Terms of Use and the Services, (b) you have the rights necessary to grant the licenses and sublicenses described in these Terms of Use, and (c) that each person depicted in such Images, if any, has provided consent to the use of the Images as set forth in these Terms of Use, including, by way of example, and not as a limitation, the distribution, public display and reproduction of such Images. By Posting Images, you are granting (a) to all members of your private community (for each such Images available to members of such private community), and/or (b) to the general public (for each such Images available anywhere on the Services, other than a private community), permission to use your Images in connection with the use, as permitted by these Terms of Use, of any of the Services, (including, by way of example, and not as a limitation, making prints and gift items which include such Images), and including, without limitation, a non-exclusive, world-wide, royalty-free license to: copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your Images without having your name attached to such Images, and the right to sublicense such rights to any supplier of the Services. The licenses granted in the preceding sentences for a Images will terminate at the time you completely remove such Images from the Services, provided that, such termination shall not affect any licenses granted in connection with such Images prior to the time you completely remove such Images. No compensation will be paid with respect to the use of your Images.

UKCloud does not claim ownership of the materials you provide to UKCloud (including feedback and suggestions) or post, upload, input or submit to any Services or its associated services for review by the general public, or by the members of any public or private community, (each a “Submission” and collectively “Submissions”). However, by posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting (“Posting”) your Submission you are granting UKCloud permission to use your Submission including, without limitation, the license rights to: copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your Submission; to publish your name in connection with your Submission; and the right to sublicense such rights to any supplier of the Services. This legal notice shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising in connection with this legal notice shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
UKCloud’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) aims to ensure the integrity, security and reliability of its network, systems, services, facilities and data contained therein. The policy is intended to be a guideline to UKCloud’s stance against violations of the accepted norms of the internet community and is not intended to be exhaustive. We reserve the right at all times to protect our reputation and goodwill.
1. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES.
The client must not use UKCloud’s service for any of the following purposes:
• Engage in any activity that is likely to violate generally accepted standards of the internet, other networks conduct and usages, or codes of conduct including but not limited to any denial of service attacks, web page defacement, port and network scanning and unauthorised system penetrations; to commit or encourage a criminal offence;
• Send or receive any material which is offensive, or which we believe maybe abusive, indecent, obscene or menacing, or in breach of confidence, copyright, privacy or any other rights;
• Insert or knowingly or recklessly transmit or distribute a virus;
• Use their account for the purpose of obtaining unauthorised access to any computer or service, circumvent or attempt to seek to circumvent, any of the security safeguards of UKCloud or any of its suppliers, cause annoyance to subscribers or others;
• Send any unsolicited advertising or other promotional material, commonly referred to as “spam” by email or by any other electronic means, and the client must not post articles of a commercial nature to newsgroups which are inappropriate to the subject of the article;
• The client must ensure that his or her equipment cannot be used to relay mail for a third party.
2. PASSWORD PROTECTION
Where applicable, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any username and the password assigned to you. As a result, you are fully responsible for all activities which occur under them. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use to which you become aware.
THE CLIENT SHALL INDEMNIFY AND KEEP UKCLOUD INDEMNIFIED AGAINST ALL DAMAGES, CLAIMS, COSTS, LOSSES AND LIABILITIES SUFFERED OR INCURRED BY UKCLOUD AS A RESULT OF ANY BREACH (OR ANY SUSPECTED BREACH) OF THIS POLICY.
3. POLICY MODIFICATION
UKCloud reserves the right to change this policy from time to time and such amended policy shall be enforced from the earlier of seven days from the date of publication. It is the Clients responsibility to review the latest Terms & Conditions available.
