Day One: Critical Systems in the Cloud

10:00 - 11:00: A keynote discussion on the theme of the day, with Leighton James, Chief Technology Officer at UKCloud.

11am onwards: A series of UKCloudX partner presentations, from Capgemini, Assured Digital Technologies and Fish Forensics.

Key Topics: Cloud adoption, Addressing and overcoming cloud journey concerns, The desire for public sector cloud solutions, How the cloud can be an enabler for digital transformation, The importance of the MSP in the cloud adoption journey, How to go fast with critical systems in the cloud, and Managing crime scene evidence in the cloud.

Day Two: Securing the Cloud

10:00 - 11:00: A keynote discussion on the theme of the day with John Godwin, Director of Compliance & IA, UKCloud.

11am onwards: A series of UKCloudX partner presentations, from CISCO, Amethyst Risk and VMware.

Topics: The difference between secure cloud and cloud security, Types of cloud and security domains (including Tier 2), Building tomorrow’s secure IT, and Considerations for personal data in the cloud.

Day Three: Innovation in Cloud

10:00 - 11:00: A keynote discussion on the theme of the day, with Bart Challis, Product Manager at UKCloudX.

11am onwards: A series of UKCloudX partner presentations, from CISCO, IBM, KETS and SiXworks.

Topics: Securing the post-quantum world, Chip-based quantum security technologies, Secure-by-design cloud computing, and Innovation and security: how to do both.
