       Additional options     To get the most out of our platform, see below for some additional options and products you might want to consider using with UKCloud for Red Hat OpenShift (additional charges apply).

     Product options

   Complementary products

     Additional Control Plane Nodes. An operational cluster requires a minimum of three Control Plane Nodes. Depending on your workloads or solution, you may need more.

 Additional Infrastructure Nodes. Infrastructure Nodes are not mandatory, but we recommend a minimum of two to provide integrated cluster services. You may want more if you require additional services.

 Additional Application Nodes. You need at least one Application Node to run your application, however we recommend a minimum of two nodes for resilience. You may need more for duplicated or new applications.

 Registry storage. The OpenShift image registry persistent storage is hosted on UKCloud Cloud Storage. Tier 1 storage. Improved performance for workloads requiring higher disk throughput and IOPS.

   Managed IT Operations. Reduce the amount of time spent on managing your IT infrastructure.

 Security Operations Service. People, processes and tooling to assist with cyber monitoring capabilities.

 Professional Services. Help with solution design and digitisation projects.

 Private Cloud. For workloads that require custom configurations, such as large instances, or complex licensing requirements.

 Cloud Storage. Cost effective unstructured object storage for data archive.
