Like all government departments, the Ministry of Defence is on a journey of digital transformation, as laid out by ISS. New ways to deliver information services to the end user, such as the use of secure cloud, are urgently required. The old ways of working - with inflexible, expensive, slow-to-change contracts and infrastructure - are becoming a thing of the past. The speed of change in the information world means that MOD must deliver services more quickly and more efficiently, and be more connected than ever before, yet maintain the security that defence demands.
