Are you a forward-thinking VMware platform engineer? Would you like to be part of an award-winning cloud business?
If yes, we have new opportunities for VMware platform engineers to join our team in both Corsham and Farnborough. You must have experience within a large-scale environment, be passionate about VMware, Linux, and cloud technologies. In this role you will work collaboratively with our internal operational and project teams to deploy and operate our VMware platform providing cloud services to our customers.
You will be able to understand customer needs, business goals and implement technical solutions to ensure the best levels of performance, service and availability to customers. A typical day may involve working to deliver new product solutions, automating service delivery and proactive and preventative system administration.
Essential skills
- VMware vSphere, including networking & storage.
- Scripting experience
- Linux System Administration
- Operational support of critical 24/7 IT services
- Experience of customer resolution
- Hands-on, self-organised, innovative, accountable, versatile
- Learning agility; able to evidence self-taught development
Desirable skills
- Exposure to VMware NSX and vCloud
- VMWare qualifications
- Experience of automation
