Undergraduate Opportunities (12-month fixed-term contract)

About the Role

At the heart of UKCloud are a number of specialist functions that keep the business running, including Commercial, Financial and HR/Recruitment activities. We are looking for someone, ideally from a Business Studies related course who will actively support all three of these areas as required by the demands of the business.

You will be involved with:

Providing administrative and analytical support to the Finance Team, including customer and supplier related tasks

  • Assist with the Daily Bank Reconciliation on SAGE Software
  • Assist with HR and recruitment administration, which will include the on-boarding of new employees and undergraduate recruitment
  • Undertake tasks related to procurement, including budgeting, invoice reconciliation, data analysis and supplier assessment
  • Assist the Commercial Team with contract progression, approval and regular review
  • Contribute to organisational preparations for future procurement frameworks (including G-Cloud)
  • Provide support for customer order, non-disclosure agreements and related engagements

Skills and Experience

  • Interest and basic knowledge in at least one of the two areas above
  • Able to prioritise tasks and manage variable workloads
  • Good customer service and communication
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required
  • Must have a keen eye for detail, and strive for accuracy in completing tasks
  • Disciplined, organised and self-motivated

  • This role will be based at the Company’s offices in Farnborough, Hampshire
