Key Responsibilities

  • Resolving complex technical issues escalated by other internal departments
  • Administration and troubleshooting of storage infrastructure issues
  • Achieve required levels of operational scalability and performance
  • Produce reports and implement regular housekeeping tasks as and when required

Skills/Experience

  • Solid experience as an IT Storage Administration or Storage Engineer
  • Experience working with EMC Storage Array family including Isilon, Atmos, ScaleIO, and VNX with FAST technology
  • Cisco SAN switch configuration and administration experience
  • Cisco UCS administration experience
  • Experience managing an EMC VPLEX environments
  • Experience with Enterprise class backup technology to include EMC Avamar
  • Experience with helpdesk tools within an ITIL environment
  • Experience with enterprise class SAN and NAS storage arrays (desirable)
  • Experience with Storage Resource Management tools to include EMC VNX Monitoring and Reporting Tool (desirable)
  • Experience with provisioning LUNs to VMWare and OpenStack virtual environments (highly desirable)
  • Available to work after-normal business hours for system upgrades and maintenance
    Understanding of core IT concepts

Alongside solid technical experience (as described above) successful candidates will also have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), enjoy root cause analysis and problem resolution, be disciplined, organised and self-motivated within a fast moving, agile company.
