In this newly created role, you will be a technical point of contact for customers during the onboarding phase of any project, attending customer meetings to understand customer requirements and project timescales.

You will be focussed on delivery and maximising revenues by working with internal teams to remove provisioning barriers and enabling UKCloud customers to self-serve through training, knowledge transfer and proactive support.

You will monitor customers utilisation during their onboarding period, identifying and resolving issues, technical demonstrations, etc. so you will be comfortable with influencing and communication with internal teams, and presenting to customers via various sources (such as WebEx).

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience of providing excellent customer care in a technical services organisation
  • Good knowledge and understanding of UKCloud products and application of them to support customer projects
  • Experience of working within a customer services organisation utilising ITIL processes
  • Intuitive with tenacity; takes a mature approach to problem solving and troubleshooting for a responsive customer resolution
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills; able to prioritise effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively with people at all levels whilst also having good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven practical experience and understanding of VMware and/or OpenStack, and CISCO Networking technologies
  • Practical and proven experience of managing small IT projects to successful completion using task management and project management techniques and tools.
