In this newly created role, you will immerse yourself in the technical architecture and project management support for complex projects to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

You will directly contribute to a customer’s success with UKCloud’s products by providing the customer with architectural guidance and technical leadership.

As part of the role, you work directly with our customers and internal teams to advance and streamline customer onboarding.

Other responsibilities will include continuous improvement - whether by creating technical documentation to support customer and partners or through identifying improvements to processes and procedures - all to enhance the customer experience of UKCloud.

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant experience within a customer and technology focussed company
• Commercially minded with the gravitas, drive and the ability to motivate and coach colleagues to achieve results. Able to influence and guide others including stakeholders to make changes and take action without direct line authority
• Proven practical experience and understanding of VMware and/or OpenStack, and CISCO Networking technologies
• Practical and proven experience of managing IT projects to successful completion using basic project management techniques and tools.
• Experience of supporting, managing and designing IT solutions utilising cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and data centre technologies such as Servers, Storage, Networks and Applications
• Experienced in the support and development of ITIL processes
• Self-organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Disciplined, organised and self-motivated
• Proven ability to take responsibility for personal development in support of a technical architecture role

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience of working in or with the UK Public Sector
• Security and assurance regimes used by the UK Public Sector to assure sensitive information
