Reporting to the Service Improvement Manager, this new role of Change Coordinator has been created to implement and own ITIL based change management process and associated policy. The ideal candidate will have change management exposure and experience within an IT service environment who is looking to further develop their career.

This role will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across customer service and technical teams supporting process, policy and change implementation activities therefore great communication is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the customer services and technical teams to implement and manage a change management process and policy, supporting tool and procedures, aligned to the ITIL framework of best practice
  • Effectively and efficiently manage and co-ordinate all changes to the live operational environment
  • Coach, guide and train teams accordingly to support new ways of working

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of UKCloud and UKCloud’s customers
  • Problem solving skills, with an interest in IT and a keenness to develop new skills
  • Ability to work effectively and deliver a high standard of work in a busy office environment
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and perform effectively within clear timelines
  • Familiarity with and an interest in learning other internal tools to work efficiently to extract the necessary insights and metrics
  • Experience in an IT support environment ideally while working in an ITIL environment. Working within a cloud business desirable
  • Good understanding of ITIL principles (ITIL certification desirable)
  • Understanding of project delivery principles (project management delivery experience in Prince or Agile desirable)
  • Change management processes and principles desirable
